Header/Heeler: I do both but mainly heel

At what age did you start riding?

When I started riding, I was about 5-6.

Who is your favorite professional rodeo athlete?

My favorite professional rodeo cowboy is Tuf Cooper and Junior Nogueira.

How do you prepare yourself for an intense rodeo and school schedule?

I prepare by practicing roping the Shorty and Smarty and working on different situations as well as riding my horse.

Tell us a little bit about your horse?

My horse is named Young Gun. He is a 18 year old sorrel gelding you can do pretty much anything on him and he has taught me a lot.

What’s your favorite meal on the road?

If I want to eat a big meal, it's probably cheeseburgers but if I just want to eat a snack, sunflower seeds!

If planning to go to college, what are you planning on majoring in? OR What’s your favorite subject in school?

So far, I do want to go to college. I have changed my mind a few times, but something to do with horses, building/fixing, or flying airplanes. My favorite subject in school has to be science.

You’re on the road a lot, when do you practice?

If I am on the road usually the rodeos and jackpots I mainly go to aren’t too far but if they are a lot of roping the shorty or left foot with friends or anything to do with swinging my rope.

Who is your traveling partner?

My traveling partner is my mom! Or if I am traveling with my friends then it’s them.

What do you do when you are not rodeoing?

When I am not rodeoing, I enjoy visiting and spending time with my friends and family. Another cool thing is I enjoy hunting, shooting guns, and during the fall I will sometimes go to Alaska where some of my family lives and fly bush planes with my grandpa.

What’s your favorite thing about rodeoing?

My favorite thing is getting to be around animals, my friends, and my family. In rodeo, you spend a lot of time with your family and friends, and of course a lot of time roping and riding as well.
