Who is your favorite pro rodeo athlete?

  • Cassidy: My favorite professional rodeo athlete would be Trevor Brazile. He carries himself with humility and a kind heart while being such an inspirational role model.

  • Corey: Kaleb Driggers or Jade Corkill

  • Gus: Jade Corkill

How do you prepare yourself for an intense rodeo and school schedule?

  • Cassidy: I try to wake up every day with a plan in my head for what I am going to accomplish in the day. I try to take it day by day to not overwhelm myself with what I have going on in the next few weeks.

  • Corey: I make sure to get enough sleep, that my horses are prepared for anything, and I pray before every run.

  • Gus: Trying to get my school work done before so I can focus on the rodeos.

Tell us a little about your horse?

  • Cassidy: My good rope horse is thirteen. He is a reject cutter that is built very thick and has a ton of heart. We call him Scarface and he does not like very many people. I head, heel, breakaway rope and tie-down on him, you will never get outrun in any event.

  • Corey: My main horse is a grey gelding named Cowboy, he is 15, is super athletic, and he helps me better my riding and roping skills.

  • Gus: I have quite a few that I rope on

What songs get you pumped up before a rodeo/roping?

  • Cassidy: Buckle Bunny by Rosevelt Road, Start Over by Flame, and Crank it Up by Colt Ford are just a few of my favorites.

  • Corey: I like anything more upbeat but older type songs.

  • Gus: Chosen One by Valley of Wolves

What’s your favorite meal on the road?

  • Cassidy: Probably a Ceaser salad, you can’t go wrong with one.

  • Gus: Chick Fill A

What do you want to major in college?

  • · Cassidy: I’m planning on going to school for either nursing or business.

What’s your favorite subject in school?

  • Corey: I like math and chemistry classes.

  • Gus: Favorite subject in school is world civilizations

You’re on the road a lot, when do you practice?

  • Cassidy: I take my Smarty Products everywhere I go. I practice as much as I can when I’m home. I’m really lucky with my rodeo horse, he’s very honest and I can rodeo consistently on him while always having a good shot.

  • Corey: I practice whenever I have time to get it in, usually weekends.

Who is your traveling partner(s):

  • Cassidy: Currently I travel alone to jackpots but I travel with my mom and Sister to rodeos.

  • Corey: My traveling partner is my best friend Morgan Hancock.

What do you do when you are not rodeoing?

  • Cassidy: I do not compete in any other sports but if I'm not practicing I like to go to the motocross track with my brother and dad in the summer or go sledding in the winter.

  • Gus: Practice

What’s your favorite thing about rodeoing?

  • Cassidy: My favorite thing about rodeoing would probably be the people I get to meet as well as the life lessons I learn and memories I get to make while being on the road and in the practice pen with my friends and family.

  • Corey: My favorite thing about rodeoing is the ability to be around people that love doing what I love to do. It makes it easier to make friends. I also like the competitive atmosphere.

  • Gus: Getting to meet new friends
